Find the Guilty One-Detective Story

Hello my dear visitors, today I am here with a new topic. Using technology to assess, evaluate and create information is one of the important things in the 21st century. Therefore, teachers need to have creative skills to adjust the tasks according to technology. This will not only make students enjoy the task but also will make them learn more effectively in the long term.

My friend and I have created a task for the students by making it technology-enhanced. We have taken the detective topic from a coursebook and we wanted them to create their comics by using an application called pixton. This app allows students to pick their own characters and enables them to create their own story with a variety of background types. It is easy to use and fun for students.

First of all, we have given the instructions step-by-step. Step 1 and step 2 help students to create their detective story in an organized way. By asking brief questions and giving a paragraph draft we wanted students not to lose their path while writing their paragraph. Finally, in step 3 we wanted them to create their online detective story. To be clear, we have shot a screencasting video and put the link on the task so that they will be confident while using the application.
